A Friend Called Night!!!

O' night!
The friend of mine,
You: the true love,
Of those deprived of,
And live in a world,
Full of malice,
Hypocrisy and ingratitude,
Hatred for nothing,
Only: one is brilliant,
Or say: genius,
Good, knowing,
Only to love,
To sacrifice,
Full of altruism,
O' poor is who,
Knows none of these,
Since: the essence of life,
O' night!
The friend of mine,
The only hope of mine,
You: the only solace,
Giving me light,
My right,
You are the only,
Confrere!!
Beloved: darling!
A liar; he,
Who says,
You have no light,
And not the true friend,
At least,
Of mine….

This seems at once a puzzle of inebriated scandal and mitigated malice...
Will have to take a look a little later perhaps - Welcome to JPiC though

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---
