fuzzy and disoriented

all just a dream
or an illusion

The coldness

closer about me and roll over

of the bed
empty and cold for so long

caked w/ dirt
and no longer empty
A pale
desiccated form
now lay beside me

Dear Eric,

My perferred genre for writing stories is horror, soft horror, the enchanted, macabre, etc. This is my favorite also...going into my favorites and I tell ya...you are prolific in writing excellent poetry. Just ...I think I have learned some things from you already! Sheesh! I do not want to change anything you don't want to, however, as mentioned in the Chatbox, I may suggest writing out the "w/." Also, if I may suggest, separating the stanzas to complete an thought and start another. Damn, I love this poem! Can I have it? lolol...much love to ya!
