Pain ,
the forever scarring brickbats of wisdom
sent your way by destiny .
Consequence ,
the equal and opposite , most often stinging
outcome of blunders made .
Dont turn away ,
face them my freind and look them in the eye .

Hypocrisy ,
the all consuming , burning urge
to don an oversized crown .
Pride ,
the deadly flaw , the hidden foe
that keeps your nearest freinds away .
Shun them my freind , your scheming foes , leading you the way down .


Faith , hope and love ,
now keep these near and you have riches rare .
Have these my freind and you can allways say ... I havent yet lost it all .

Interesting. Your poem made me ask: in what should I place my hope and faith; with whom should I make love? I totally agree with you about the sins. They're destructive. Yet, I also think they're as natural as an earthquake. Maybe someday we'll defeat earthquakes, pride, hypocrisy and pain. Until then, write on.
