Default Mystic destiny FRANCO Started This Thread

Sparkling vision in the eyes,
spectrum of desirer in the heart,
dreamt to reach the sky and beyond
sailed on a paper boat to fish my fancy fate.

Witty player that you are, amused thyself - soothingly
seated on your immortal easy chair sipping
heavenly nectar, waited leisurely to checkmate me,
holding the strings of my destiny.

Ignorant as I ‘m, set sail aboard the paper boat
hunting for my destiny desperately into the feral
fearsome ocean of life, till the sparkling vision dimmed
in my eyes, and the spectrum shattered to dust in my heart.

Failed to sense the puppet string steer the
game of my life, he seated simply smiling there;
the humble master, keeper of the count
of the ocean sand – kept playing hide ‘nd seek with me.

None beyond the living movement could be moved by me.
Arrogant as me, anxiously stalked after for my dreamy destiny.
FRANCO.

Hi FRANCO - very interesting write - seems kind of bitter, but life has a special way of doing that to the best of us.... Think I'm still looking for my "paper boat" - I think I'd like to sail directly out towards the sun.

Thanx for sharing - Welcome to JPiC - You may introduce yourself via the Member Introductions section = moving post to Miscellaneous

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Wow. I really liked this one. It had great rythmn, and the imagery was fantastic. You managed to convey fate, destiny, and life in general in a perfect way. Snagging the attention, dragging us further and further into your world of wind and ocean metaphors.

Lovely darling. truly lovely.
