inspired by Pd's love series ....

The buzzing of your instrument ,
filled with the sounds of electric melody
running through its metallic body,
fills my mind with a heady concoction ,
the merging of apprehension and anticipation .
I lie here , your willing living canvas .

My skin welcomes and shuns your paintbrush
even as you paint pain into the very pores of me .
Painting me with myriad hues of passion ,
marking me with varied shades of darkness .
My skin rejoices in every stroke of your artistry .
I lie here ,your willing living canvas .

For once this pain feels so real,
so close to my skin
so far from the man within .
My body quivers with sadistic ecstasy
this pain is all consuming , blotting out every other .
I lie here , your willing living canvas .

You beautify this mundane shell
these wrappings that cover my soul .
You paint on the outside , reflections of the inner me .
This humble shell is honoured to be a part of your master craft ,
for once it feels so good to be used .
I lie here , your willing living canvas .

my very good friend happens to be a tatoo artist , he gave me a really detailed gothic lettering tatoo for my birthday as a gift .... the whole process was so inspiring it compelled me to write ... i say im inspired by the love series because this is an ode to an artist just like the love series though its not as good or even sexy .....

I don't even know where to begin. First thank you for saying that my series was your inspiration, in many ways that is so much more an honor than reading the series. I thank you from the abyss of my heart. I am moved by this and quite misty. No it is not as good.... It's superb, lol gotcha'! It is so sexy it its own right, and so unique. I have never read anything like this before. It is very sexy and executed beautifully Jonathan.

HEY KIMMY .... i see yu say its an honour for yu that this poem is inspired by ure love series but mam ure ohhh so deserving of this honour ... reading ure stuff has not only inspired me but taught me how to dig so deep within to find beauty in this not so beautifull world ... for yu its an honour which yu deserve ... for me its drawing from the same passion that yu write with and im thankfull for being able to read ure stuff ...love yu Kimmy ....
