Thank you Mysty for pointing out
those little grammar errors. Will fix them.
I'm so glad you liked it, cool

Nightlife calls me.
Through her I am free.
It's the only way to be,
all caught up in a mystery!
Born with full moon fever,
I can make you a believer!
For I am the moonchild,
truly born to be wild!

Hi KAREN - What a brilliant poem - I love the metaphor and flowery language you used.

The Following Text Is Quoted:
of expression he sometimes
channels into my muse and leads
my hand across the papyrus of
time to spread whispering
words of his lead language
of love which I so happily follow.
I couldn't help myself but smile at this poem as I sort of feel the same way about my Pen LOL - Of course my Pen has taken a vacation along with my Muse it seems - but always good to see such an inspirational poem - Kinda makes me wanna find the god Pencilis!

Very nice poem and I thanx you for sharing it

Jacquii.

his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Of course you prolly know I did a google search --- I did see that it was submitted to some forum in February or some such - doesn't take away from the poignancy of your write MS KAREN - It's a thoroughly enjoyable piece of poetry - It's one for any season, any temperature, any time.... Seems the prerequisite is simply a love for the pencil, poetry and paper. I can surely appreciate it

Jacquii.

Yeah Jacquii I post on other forums.
The one you probably saw was "The Peaceful Pub."
I wrote this in 2005 cause like I said my muse has been on vacation lately.
Glad you liked it and enjoyed.

Moonchild,

I love this, it describes such a warm relationship with with your inspiration, and the image
is so fitting. He does look like a pencil, and the idea of him being a wizard makes him even stronger. All he needs now is a pink hat. LOL
