Default The Perfect Death Ariono-jovan Labu Started This Thread
Make it painless, quick as
quarter lap Daytona. Something
similar swallowing a 40-ounce mug
of Mercury.

No romancing beneath neon- pink chandeliers,
gluttonously toasting Cabernet Sauvignon
like Nebuchadnezzar. No long tangos
to the Sandman's sluggish lullabies
or deteriorating on a metal gurney
damp shadows some quarantined hospital ward.

No Hollywood dramatic final seconds to plead/
moan & beg mercy the cruel world.
Make it quick like Third- world firing squads;
soundless as a medieval guillotine.

Dear Ariono,
You gave us something to think about in this piece. The imagery plays like a movie in Technicolor. Picturesque and few words. No more, no less....just Ariono-jovan style. I love it, yeah.

No romancing beneath neon- pink chandeliers
gluttonously toasting chardonnays like Nebuchadnezzar.

No long tangos to melodious echoes mourning
or the Sandman’s sluggish lullabies.

You write so beautifully. You have an amazing and unique morphological lingustic structure to behold. These lines are simply classic. You manage even with this subject to turn it into a magestical fluid painting. As you already know, I call you my poet from Heaven. I am so blessed to have you as my mentor. Every time I look at your work, it gets more magical. Beautiful artwork brother, once again. Much Luv.

Once again I am not disappointed. You came very strong and clear in this write. No need to drag out the inevitable, let it be quick and to the point. Go straight to the juggler.

Loved it.
Marvelous, simply marvelous.
