Poetry Arrived. Period!

Poetry arrived to the very scene of me
period: I was wallowing around
in prepaid pain (never shame before)
it even knew my very own name!

I was shallow like the trenches
of Iraq – called out my name like bitches
on dranky dranks who owned snitches
on crankity crank – we knew: inadvertently.

shallow, callow, fellow of yellow pallor
Stomp!
shudder utterly of stuttered thunder
Bump!
you can’t see me.

we looked at it – laughed made horrible
fun – never knew the pun of being
called out of all our names,
for we knew the stunt of prepaid pain.

I wallow all up in my prepaid pain
“it’s over bitch,” says the feminine snake
“right here…” his voice fades – stomps
and romps pomp & circumstance…

shallow, callow, fellow of yellow pallor
Stomp!
shudder utterly of stuttered thunder
Bump!
you never wanted me.

cameras and scenes of horrid cheaters;
backgrounds and drunken wife-beaters…
poetry arrived to the very scene of me. Period.
never seen the method of more inferior.

tricks and cheap gimmicks, haters abundant;
peepin’, creepin’, and otherwise stunneded –
Poetry arrived. and you sitting on bended knee
awaiting resurrections of the Jesus in me?

shallow, callow, fellow of yellow pallor
Stomp!
shudder utterly of stuttered thunder
Bump!
you don’t know Peace!

his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Thanx ERIK - I also wondered about the stanza you speak of - I just wanted a bit of dialogue LOL.... Seems my Long Island Tea was writing the poem for me... Anyway - glad you liked the humor of this piece!
