Constant Swaying in my mind,
All unkempt, undefined.
Constant waves of reprimanding
all distinct lack understanding.

Restless seeking in my soul,
Restless seeking will not wither.
Never sever what is whole
Never piece what is severed.

To rearrange what is ordained,
blasphemy or natural right?
To justify what is estranged,
consequence or pure insight?

Rewarded thought or reckless theory
So alike these means
Can someone please explain the matter
in balancing two extremes?

Hello Joy...I like this poem...the confusion, and seeking to understand life and it's twists and turns. I feel though, that the second line could read "All unkempt AND undefined". Just a suggestion...I feel that it keeps the count of the beat throughout the stanza that way.

Very nice!

Hey! You sound just like me! ... Love the poem ... you successfully contrast the paradoxes (paradoxi?) that are usually a part of the human psychi ... many of us learn to tune it out ... I find myself enthralled by it ... some times ....
I'm in the mood for poetry,
The quintessential imag'ry.
The words rise up and speak to me.
I’m in the mood for poetry.
