At the cusp of slapping guts
To virgin skin,
These conceptual fits
Rain like seraphic wrists
On burning circuits.

Mixing robotic convention
With helical quintessence --
Hiding in the timorous closets of recollection.
Diminution of sustenance,
Bending the senses
Into leaks
Of spiritual zenith.
Reading this vaporous blood
As the stream increases,
Seeping through
The sleeping wall
Of schizophrenic myth.

Floating through the air
Of expectance
On waves of poison
And sprawling the boughs
Of fear.
To embrace this slow death
Of neglecting affection.

This evolving symbiosis.

Drugging each-other
Into mutations of buoyant radiance.

Plentiful paths to plummet
From this fleeting sense of ascendance.
Fears creating them
In clouds of detrimental manifestations.
As the warm rays of freedom
Grin through the illusion of limits
Like, a sobbing angelic jester
Juggling worms
On a coffin
Made of diamond.

Whoa! This is some abstract creativity flowing all around this piece. Such a sophistocated display of language here wow.

Such a creative expression, a bittersweet testimony of ascending madness perhaps? There is bitterness in this piece. Acceptance. Triumph!

A coffin made of diamond? Seriously? Ha!
Even the title is abstract to the point of laughter? Funny thing is - I wonder if that intriguing spelling "Siriusly" was at the fore or this write or was an afterthought...

Poetry: the best words in the best order. You did that!

It is a real artist who can create such an abstract piece; yet one which simultaneously exudes surrealism.

Bravo. And thanks for the share.

Jacquii.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

thank you very much. this is one of my favorites and i was hoping you wouldn't rape it too much. yeah, my titles usually come afterwards and yeah, it does poke fun at itself a little. i was reading "cosmic trigger" around this time and living a "party" lifestyle and i was getting pretty big waves of muse (for lack of better term), from middle to late august. and the book is pretty old, it talks about "sirius transmissions" being the strongest around august 23rd. no, i'm not a scientologist. so there's some references to "the holy guardian angel" i suppose, which is like an early occult depiction of jung's "self". so anyway, the title kind of pokes fun at the possibilities surrounding the floods of inspiration that were going on. i don't want to explain too much behind it as it seems like it will cloud the reader's interpretation with a bunch of my shitty jibber jabber. peace.

LOL - Do I rape poetry? I suppose if that's the case, poetry would be telling me, "You can't rape the willing Jacquii. You freek!"

Anyway - yeah - I liked this one immensely. Thanks for posting your inspirations.
