Where We Began
Featuring Poets (in order of stanzas) Mysty, PaintedDiary, MsJacquiiC, Tears of Roses, PaintedDiary (again ), AND erikestabrook

I closed my eyes to block the fears
and felt your thumb gently brush away my tears
I opened my eyes and there you were,
your smile singling out some happy sighs.

With slightly parted lips I exhale your scent
My tears now fossilized by moonlight
A cool zephyr nestles our first stanza
we began on an Autumnal Equinox

Colors of Us like poignant Fall hues: The Oak
even blushes - Yeah. You smile so brilliantly.
Thoughts of you in my dreaming-eye makes me wet.
I want to be embraced in your gentility forever.

Entwined in passions flight
Soft mummers exchanged thru the night
Hearts sing of a love so strong
Hands erasing the memories of a love gone wrong

Fears held captive; I tremble
Heart’s Dove takes flight; dare I begin again
Tear filled sands pour; a timeless hourglass is reborn
Rainbow soaked brushes paint pastel love hues anew

My canvas your body, the longing to reach,
Epiphany so eloquent in your touch and your speech,
I reach and grasp finding highways beneath,
We we're born in thick oils, a lovers masterpiece.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Ummmm....sultry, to say the least...yet almost a dream...I like the switching back and forth from rhyming stanzas to non rhyming ones...still keeping the heat going...I do like these thoughts melding together to make a completion of love's vision...I do. Good work, folks!

--- To my surprise another very eloquently collaborated piece of poetry - from beginning to end - What is this YAWL --- Seems we be getting our flow on Anyway - WOW! I'm loving this poem - so much actually- And the way it's written out really epitomizes the piece as it goes from point "a" all the way to point "z" and makes itself right on back to point "a" again - Where We Began =

I actually like the pivot TEARS introduced - it gives the poem "substance" if you will - but that "love gone wrong" effect didn't last for too long now did it?

Summed up very nicely by you ERIK with the last line We we're born in thick oils, a lovers masterpiece. = NICE!

An exquisite collaboration Poets = Thanx you all for sharing your poetic gift

JAcquii.
