Entropy

The mind’s descent is habitual
In the pattern of skin fall.
All this build up slows
To a fetid cell,
Shelled of surrounding purpose.
Entrusting only the drenched
Shoulder view,
Welling with premonition.
That somehow,
All life is relative.
Leading to previous moments.
And just an energy remains.

Muse Fiend

Brushing with supple lips.
A furtive sipping of lucid-vicinity.
Infatuation with the figurative latest.
Perversions graduated
To a limp hug from the overly swallowed soil.
The taste of forgotten fallows.
Filming the mouth and
Hollow eyes of estrangement’s birth.
The impetuous consumption
Of subjective works
In a gallant pant for the hallowed gallows.

"If you watch a pot of water..."

Screams of splitting vehemence
Tear with clawing flame.
Beckoning explosions.
Releasing cries against the fence.
Projecting pulsing essence.
Undulate the sparking continuation.

Simultaneous building force
Shredding stenciled perceptions.
Charring the sockets with grinning vigilance
For the unspeakable ascendance into conjured chaos.
The mass panic-attack identity crisis.
Flashing photon-ic fragmentation releases
And alchemical concentrations of experience.

This is a perfectly terrifying trio. Quite intriguing to read though, this is like someone's decendence into a madness of some sort. Perfectly frightening.

Yeah - makes for an interesting read = thanks for the share

Jacquii.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

yes, i tend to write disturbing things. better out than in i suppose. they were kind of just thrown together into one post because i don't think they stand alone very well. had i known i could create a frightening trilogy i would've created a creepy title. thanks for the comment.

ok, now i have a fitting title for my padded room trio.

Title changed to "Ascending Madness" as per your request

I think it's a fitting title actually. Perhaps even "Transcending Madness" would be better? IDK - but I like the concept of transcending (or ascending out of) madness as opposed to descendence into madness - transcending/ascending is moving upward, out of the madness and gives a bit of hope that "this too shall pass" ya know.

Again- a really thought-provoking write from you!

edit: edited title to Transcending Madness as per request...
