If i had global authority-

dynasty of Holy Spirit,
one wish a drunken genie

bet no peoples ever
share starvation-

ever clutch hollow stomachs
or ache in sluggish spasms

reciting poverties lullaby.

Ooh Ariono,
Such a beautiful authority, that it aches in my stomach. Yes, if we only had a magic wand, then.......possibilities would be endless, yes. I loved the strong beginning, setting the stage for your audience's undivided attention, like saying "I pledge of allegiance". A must read with today's turmoil running rabbit. Thank you for sharing this my friend.

oh - how well I know poverty's decrepid song

Hey ARIONO - I have really missed reading your stuff! You'll have to post more often on JPiC - Anyway - this piece is AWESOME - such poignant words in such few lines... Yeah - I can imagine having the ability to do away with all maladies and ailments of this horrible world we call home.

Seems that with many of us bonding together in an unbreakable unity, the problems can be solved... Seems to be a lack of bonding though... Sadly...

Anyway - enjoyed this piece immensely - Very refreshing read!
Thanx for sharing it -

Jacquii.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---
