Yesterday’s sun
glows deep within my heart
sad goodbyes
and warm sweet smiles
settle slowly in my mind
painless doth I close the door
upon you and I
but when’s it gonna open again?
~
there’s a void between
what is and should be
there’s a way deep within everyone of us
to make it disappear
~
Where do I go
from here?
My every step
is crucial…
let me see a
sweet, sweet smile
~
Yesterday’s sun
is cooling rapidly
sad goodbyes
and unheard sighs
rattle around in my mind
~
I’ll drink another
round to you babe…
I’ll never forget…
please don’t
throw me away
~
Yesterday is forever gone
as thus it ever is
we are not alone
my friend…
true happiness is very rare
~
Please don’t sell me short
my friend…
let me see
your sweet smile ~
even if I
can’t have it

I know these feelings.
So true, true happiness is very rare.
A beautiful and well expressed write Kit.
Very well done!

Nightlife calls me.
Through her I am free.
It's the only way to be,
all caught up in a mystery!
Born with full moon fever,
I can make you a believer!
For I am the moonchild,
truly born to be wild!
