What kind of music are you people into? I like most music, some I hate though. The REAL popular stuff just gets to me. I hate...

Yeah = gotta mix it up a bit. A diverse selection is good, thus my love of classical, jazz, opera, r&b, some metal, etc.... And not that I want to date myself but Taylor Dane is a favorite! Tell it to my heart was MY song

Think this was circa early 2000.... Anyway - yeah - diversity of selection is a must for the music connoisseur... Concrete Blond? How about the 4 Nonblonds

in my teens when I started playing guitar these are the people I`d listen to. I`d hear little rifs" and learn them. want to know where Clapton, Stevie ray, Bonnie raitt got that stuff? as far as i`m concerned these guys were the fathers of it all, and there are more. I put a lot on here but I like it.

in my young days it was all about jazz, blues. I don`t know what the hell went wrong..I always go back and listen, but maybe the progression in music moves us ahead. like writing we progress, or try to. I like production now too, can be a simple song and the production just sets you back in the damn seat your in..lol
When I go write simple songs, simple music..it takes a little steam out of it all..know what I mean? my only hope is we need it all, loud, soft, big, small. like feelings wouldn`t it be terrible if all we feel is happy, or feel sad..the music would never change.

I'll listen to almost anything, lol. I tried rap but really didn't understand it though I loved the rhythm. Maybe I'm just too much of an old turd to understand it, lol.
I have a mix of country, rock and oldies on my mp3 player. It makes for interesting listening while walking to the post office, lol.
