We are happy to announce the addition of two new sections which we are sure you will enjoy: Poem of the Day and Glossary Term of the Day. We believe these will fit quite nicely in our Poetry-Defined section.

We should point out that FlamingFeenix -- the JPiC Poem of the Day Poster Bot -- will be posting the Poem of the Day selections. She's a bit hot-tempered 3 or 4 days a month, but she's really a lovely persona once you get used to her bi-polar tendencies. At anyrate - She really loves sharing poetry, so it's a win for the JPiC community.

Okay. Now the official description for these new sections are as seen below:

Poem of the Day: A collection of prolific poetry from poets around the globe. From Dickinson to Frost, we share the work of greats here.

Glossary Term of the Day: A collection of terms of importance to today's learned poet. From assonance to syllabic verse, we define terms used by poetic masterminds.

Like A Poem a Day... on Facebook

We offer both in conjunction with our new Facebook page, A Poem a Day Keeps the Doctor Away. We hope you Facebook Addicts will like the page and tell your friends about it, as this is yet another way to get the word out about JPiC.

Please enjoy the additions as we continue striving towards our goal of celebrating diversity with the type word whilst being wrapped all the way up in a cozy layer of poetic love.

We've added the new Audio Poem of the Day section.

Audio Poem of the Day: You'll find a great collection of classic and contemporary poems read by poets and actors here.

Each poem posted in this section will have the audio recital as well as the complete poem text!
