Default Frustrated (I am finding this site difficult to use) mrsmajor Started This Thread
I came upon JPIC back in 2006, and used the site for a while even donating, which I had no problem with doing, as other sites that I have been positng through do charge,...then your site disappeared....Since you are back I have tried to be a part of the site again...
I am finding this site the most difficult one to use, most of the information on my site, is not correct, perhaps left over from the past.....I have tried to post my work here, but I get close but, then pop ups appear, and I get lost...No it is not my pc, as I have no problems with othere site...

Perhaps I don't know your lingo, what is a thread....is it where one would post a poem..I would sincerely like to join, but hesitate until I can make heads or tails of the working of this site...I am seriously interested in posting, for reviews, and comments, and doing the same as I read along...

My main concern is where, and how to post...I have followed the supposed answers but don't seem to ever get there...

It has become a frustration....certainly I cannot join, until things are made much clearer for me....

Hi MrsMajor. I'm glad you found your way back. I've moved your post into it's own thread.

What is a thread?
A thread (sometimes called a topic) is a collection of posts, usually displayed from oldest to latest, although this is typically configurable: options for newest to oldest and for a threaded view (a tree-like view applying logical reply structure before chronological order) can be available. A thread is defined by a title, an additional description that may summarize the intended discussion, and an opening or original post (common abbreviation OP, which can also mean original poster) which opens whatever dialogue or makes whatever announcement the poster wished. A thread can contain any number of posts, including multiple posts from the same members, even if they are one after the other.

The site was offline for 2 months, find out why at Welcome Back! We Are Online Again. And though the site has been redesigned, the functionality is basically the same. In fact - I believe JPiC is easier to use now than it was in 2006.

You've posted here before and the procedure is the same. I have yet to update our video tutorials, but take a look at Video Tutorial #1: Creating Your Own Thread. This tutorial was for our previous design, but the concept is the same:
  1. Go to the main forum index page
  2. Select which forum you want to post in. Click the corresponding link.
  3. Click the "Start A Thread" button.

Can't really get easier than that...

I hope this helps. And if all else fails - file a support ticket at the JPiC Support Desk and I'll be happy walk you through the steps more clearly, but I really don't think you can get clearer than the instructions I posted above.

his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---
