Thanx to all whom participated in the Name The Motto Contest. It was very nice to see such diversity of Members' catch phrases for JPiC - It was equally as nice to "hear" all the good things Members say about the site.

So anyway - it was a tight race with PaintedDiary and Amzy leading the race with their fantastic mottos... Without further adieu....

The Results:

PaintedDiary
A Taste Of The Finer Things In Write ----> 11 Votes

Amzy
All the prose. None of the cons. ----> 10 Votes

Lindamay
Where the Right to Write Begins & Whispered Words are Read ----> 9 Votes

Honorable Mentions go to the following JPiCans for painting such lovely words about the forum:

  • The Write Stuff Diverse in Verse ----> 8 Votes (Amzy)
  • Don't just write. Invoke a blaze. Ignite. ----> 8 Votes (erikestabrook)
  • Where the horizon of poetry is never ending. ----> 8 Votes (MoonFire)
  • Capture the write color of poetry with JPiC. ----> 6 Votes (PaintedDiary)
  • JPicans do it in color - Welcome Home! ----> 6 Votes (Altree94)
  • Celebrate & Embrace your "Ethnic Writes" ----> 6 Votes (v3sista)
  • Here we mend wounds with words. ----> 6 Votes (erikestabrook)

The JPiC Admin has chosen to bypass selection on a couple of mottos that were similar. The 1st entrant in each case is the chosen... Also - There were 5 mottos with 6 votes each... MsJacquiiC made the final selection!

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

Congrats to all the winners and honorable mentions... Glad to see so many participated! Hopefully in the future JPiC shall have more Members-only contests!

Now.... I have been suffering from a dislocated-shoulder so when the healing process has really taken affect - I shall get to making the banners!

Thanx again to all for such lovely mottos

Jacquii.

Congrats to Painted Kim and to Lindamay. And thanks to MsJ for having the contest. Most of the banners look great, MsJ. Am I the only one who thinks that second one say's "All the probe"? That sounds...unpleasant. Muaha!
I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

I think I will find a more "appropriate" font CRAZY!

Jacquii.

**UPDATE**

I've added a little color to the banners and made the script writing a little tighter... Hope you guys like them!

hehe - Thought I'd write a little poem of the stressed words in each of the 10 banners... Of course using my slogan "Celebrating Diversity With The TYPED Word" As the last word

I title it: Colours Of Us

Enjoy

Colors Of Us

Finer Prose = Write Diverse,
Invoke Poetry; Colour.
