Just got the idea recently to do a little something special with the JPiC main site banner... So here is a contest of sorts for all Members to participate in:

Name The Motto!
And Have Your Entry On The Main Site Banner

So........ Everyone has seen the Celebrating Diversity With The Typed Word motto. It's what I thought to do when 1st beginning JPiC... There have been others as well that I have used in email promotionals/invitations.... Example: A Taste Of The Finer Things In Write by PaintedDiary. But I'm a bit greedy and would love some additional alternatives But not that greedy so keep your mottos short! Name The Motto contest is to find really great "catch phrases"

The site banner and logo, being the 1st things forum guests see, has a lasting effect on guests' opinion of JPiC... Thus the purpose of this Contest: Your task is to come up with some additional mottos that both defines JPiC Forum (and/or its Members) AND entices visitors to register and become active participants in the Community.

The reward? "Publication" of your creative catch phrase So get those mottos/catch phrases in (list them in this thread...) Near the middle to end of November we will have a Forum-wide vote on the best 10 to 20 submitted mottos.

Thanx AND Happy posting!

Jacquii.

Any JPiC Member may submit prospective mottos.
There is no limit on the amount of mottos per Member,
But all must be relatively short, succinct and to the point.

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---

a friendly face so far away, imagination runs over today and yesterday,
forfeit thy wit and you'll remain as clay, or let these authors shape you
until you feel so strong, with poetry the words go blissfully on,
here is the spot for poetry and friendship, where cares slip away and join unto
a blissful ray of hope, the futures of these authors shining as one,
for frienship or unity, our just to have a little fun.
