Hey Gang...
I know it's been many moons,
Tides have come and gone and yet the write goes on!
Something told me to check in because it has been too long...
Im glad I did, Long story short here's my nomination to the ONLY poetic community I know that loves the way you guys do!
(he clears his throat)

I Nominate JPiC For Writer's Digest "101 Best Web sites" 2007!
My Name is King George
I am a noble JPICan and proud to be one,
I have been a member of this joyous & prosperous forum for quite some time, It's funny to think back when I joined because I don't recall finding them...they found me and I don't regret it..here's why I feel the way I do about JPIC's Community of illustrious poets.

"Be it life or death-
we crave reality"
Henry David Thoreau 1817-1862

We rise everday to a anew,
A constant breeze herded over dew,
From lawns to shrubs to concrete seeping truth,
An exsistence evisioning steps towards a better view,
With our hands & hearts extended fore this you'll see soon.

We rise everyday to a poets faith,
To shun writer's block by staring challenge in the face,
To hurdle obsticales at determination's pace,
Reaching mark's mile high fore our community is great.

We rise to the beat of a humble heart,
Different rhythms in prisims though unique in our finger prints art,
As we strive to complete said task that we start,
The pride and love of our forum is the greatest embarked!
Written By King George a.k.a FTD4KING,
Of JPIC's informative & loving community.

Thank you for reading my comment!

“I do use powerful words to evoke emotion, but also to stimulate imagination. If one can 'see' the words dance before
his eyes - then he can likely feel, smell and even taste them as well. And I do thoroughly enjoy really tasty poems.
My poetry is an emotions-fest sprinkled with a little garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, fresh ginger and Tabasco sauce...
My poetry is like a piece of General Tso's chicken tossed in ghetto soul.” ---
