Stepping from the pooling mists of wisdom
into the Garden of my Heart
I miss you son so much it’s hurting
This place is not the same since we’ve been apart

My son, my son what were you thinking?
Didn’t Eden teach you a thing?
And tell me why are you hiding naked,
Tryin to fade…fade into the trees?

Did you think I wouldn’t follow?
Did you think I wouldn’t see?

I am glad you told me about this poem last night. This is truly amazing. The words, the conversation, the creativity, the content, the rhythm, the message, the purpose, the vividness of the imagery is outstanding. The lyrical poem is simply beautiful. That first stanza is so omnipotent, and stands out, setting the tone of the entire poem. The entire piece demands respect. Again, I am in awe of those that have Mastered this craft into Lyrics. Yeah! I also loved the conversation...kinda like the conversations we have with Him in our minds and hearts when it is time to have them....over and over again throughout our lives. The story of the Prodigal son is our own story...beautiful work, zaac!
