You took a long time
to find your way
to my doorstep.
But it was worth the wait
indeed.
I understand the need
to be shown who you are
in His eyes;
So trust me,
He did his best work
in you.

Sometimes I get distant
do things my own way,
but He covers me
and He is healing me,
some things slowly
but with perfect timing.

and some of it lady,
some of it's just me.
Though I have to admit
I'm learning to listen
cuz I know it's not about me,
but its hard sometimes,
so hard sometimes.
Especially when
we've both had to fight
to survive.

My prayer for you is
that I honor you
more every day.
Times like these I am writing
In the still of the nite
I know you need to touch me and be loved.
I'm touching you; you're touching me
I'm loving you.
Though I might not do it
perfectly
I love you with a perfect love,
blessed by God Himself
with many blessings and
memories
yet to be made...miracles to see.

My prayers for me
are much the same
as the ones you pray for me
all day and nite
I know my goal
My sight is set
On His grace
and nothing less

No one has been harder
on me than myself
But you're my soft place to land
even when i fall hard,
you sit with me
in the palm of His hand.

If it weren't for you
I don't know where I'd be
I can't imagine how I ever
made it before
He gave you to me.
So don't fret love,
don't you worry.
I am in His hand, as are you.
Before your very eyes
He is transforming us.

You say to me,
get out of God's way
and let Him do His work.
So please stand beside me;
just out of His way
hold my hand
while He binds us together
in His peace under grace

We are His story,
His testimony;
the reason He came.
Pass it on, my love, pass it on.
I love you and I adore you Lisa.
And I'm honored to be married to
the lioness, the jaguar of my heart.
You are my crowning jewel
You are what makes me shine.
Do not chide, just pray for me;
the prayers of a godly wife get answered.
I know the change is coming
And I wouldnt miss a moment with you
for the world.

I told you that He is faithful
watch Him work in me.
You are my wife
you are my sister
joined in Christ
who set us free.
He counts every tear that falls
from your eyes.
He knows you carry a heavy weight
But his yoke is easy
and His burden is light
if you trust Him
If you believe that Calavary
completed everything;
He covered it all.
Just ask him to
show Himself to you
I'll watch over you.

You have become the song
I never thought I'd sing
Like a fountain overflowing
straight from the throne of grace
Be slow to judge;
be slow to anger.
We all have a wound or two
You are my lover and my wife.
But you are also my best friend.
I need that best friend in you
a soul who loves me
tho' still I don't know why
Be that friend to me,
I need you.
I will not disappoint
You will see what God can do
through the eyes of faith.

May His peace flow like a river
through your heart forever.
