IN THESE TIMES OF PROPHETIC DREAMS

In these times of prophetic dreams
The universal and true song plays

- i -
View the world around
The stars , the moon, the sky
And seek a greater meaning
With a new, objective eye
Know both beauty of day and night
And with that knowledge go
For there is a greater purpose
Than you or I shall
Know

All things of
Merging
Existance
From the atom
To the
Grain
And, within the sifting of the universe,
There is a truth, which still remains

- ii -

Millenium.
Indignant, here we stand
As we welcome in the future
The future that may be --
The world, a barren wasteland
Product
O, Woefully I do predict
A rather fitfull destiny
And thus as we look to the heavens
As nuclear warfare
Decends
Upon
Us
Incendiary victims
Once again we are reminded
That
Tears choke away life
Radiation, an infectious disease

Sifting through the dust

-- iii --

I have drempt once
Of something so sublime, so surreal
It gleamed with such intensity
And no longer could I distinguish what was real

It depicts an evil entity
Approaching, 'cross the astral plains
It betrays me, and it bites me
After, compassion, it does feign

This doppleganger,
This hideous wraith,
This ghostly apparation,
Shall reap the death
of me

-- iv --

And the devil, red, spoke to me
And in this dream there was a voice
That spoke in tones so soft
Lessons untold
It spoke to me in rising voice, and sang
The song the devil sings
And at long last shall
From the depths of wisdom
And reprieve
Of what mischievious mind
Or devious spirit waiting
And the devil, red, spoke to me
In silence and with false concern
"I am that of legend
Forever, I remain"
"But only in the hell of the ancients," I said

When silence whispers confusedly, window of thought points to the heavens!

true blue, could truly feel the somber, yet optomistic tone in this quartet. some strong concrete imagery weaved within, "The future that may be --
The world, a barren wasteland... Once again we are reminded
That/ Tears choke away life/ Radiation, an infectious disease... I have drempt once/ Of something so sublime, so surreal/ It gleamed with such intensity/ And no longer could I distinguish what was real/It depicts an evil entity/ Approaching, 'cross the astral plains..." i do look forward to sharing more of your labors artist. one-

It makes me happy to get some positive feedback on this poem. I wrote this - in pieces - when I was in highschool. That's a pretty long time ago, now. I don't know what it means really. I don't claim to have any vision. I am a just a person who wants peace. All I want is for all people, countries, religions, to somehow figure out how to coexist without hurting each other. That's my dream. While my poems aren't great masterpieces, maybe it will somehow help [some?] people ease the hate [& confusion?] that often will arise. It's helped do that with me. But the personally revolution is harder than the first step in any revolution.

With hopes of peace, love, friendship, and happiness in your life,
Paul,

The imagery True is simply amazing as is your poetry. Something to behold. Very dark, with glimpses of light, which is your hope, you wanting peace, you wanting equality of what is good for all, the moral of the story. Many messages in this piece that you have clearly layed out for your audience. Boy, I wish I could write like this, and also like Ariono, my heavenly poet. I see this as a published piece True, as well as many of your works. Fabulous.

Much Luv'...Painted aka Kimberly
