I totally submitted myself to you just about two months ago
Today I found out I'm carrying a life inside me
Boy, this is going to be a hard road to hoe
Will the child be like you? You are of the undead, see.

You are the father and I am the mother of what I call the devil's child
Wondering how much like you our child will be?
Wondering if the traits you hand down to him will be mild?
I pray he is not at al like you, see.

Will the child be of the dark or of the light?
Will I feed our child liquid that is white or red?
Will he move during the day or the night?
Will he be a master of seduction, just like his father, after everything done and said?

Will his skin be lilly white like his father?
Will you also possess his unquenchable thirst for dark red blood?
Will you be of heaven or hell, do I even need to ask, should I even bother?
Will you be like your father always searching for new red blood?

Going out at night to stalk your prey?
Using seduction to obtain what you want?
No matter what I would love you, you are my child too, to me you would never have to say
Will you have a memory of your father that would always haunt?

I'm already a big fan of your work and this poem just helps me connect with you more even though we have not talked before....One perticular stanza that spoke to me loud and clear was

This is the current mindstate of my mother and father at times they feel that their life has been hard and terrible and there are times when they say they hope I don't develop their habits or turn out like them.....so in that sense of the parents not wanting the child to inherit their bad traits I can really connect with you except from the other side of that particular feeling; thank You
