You had a chance,
for a total romance,
But from her eyes you thought different,
Her eyes didnt dance like yours when they met.

And that one day, you lost her.
Theres no need to be yelling at her,
Her memory will go on forever,
and you keep telling yourself "Why?".

And that one day you kissed her,
You said that you missed her,
You set her up a perfect funeral,
but still in your heart you were drifting away,

That one day, you lost her,
to the arms of god, and never,
prayed for her to come over.
You didn't see her tears getting red.
She cried with pain, and now she is dead.

She's sitting up her cloud now,
Trying to figure your emotions out somehow,
Figure out the reasons for your deeds,
"So is that what a perfect man needs?"

Maybe you were the reason you lost her?

This is quite morbid but nonetheless I really enjoyed the concept of it all, I know as of recently me and my friends have been discussing relationships and it's always hard to tell exactly what happens during a break-up or just a break but when you first look at things you think that the other person was the reason and they messed, etc. but then you think "or is it me?" or it could happen in reverse order but nonetheless you reach the concepts of this poem as a reason for losing somebody, which by the way is one of the worst feelings in the world...Thank You for the painful memories, J/k I loved this poem though it's one that really gets you thinkin about things; Thank You

Ouch ..... such pain... it veritably palpitates ..... agony. I liked this piece because it is asking why ...... the eternal why. Thanks for a good read
