Epic
An EPIC is a long narrative poem celebrating the adventures and achievements of a hero. Epics deal with the traditions, mythical or historical, of a nation.
There is no set stanza, line or rhyme scheme standard for the epic poem.
Example by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow:
excerpt from The Song of Hiawatha
By the shore of Gitchie Gumee,
By the shining Big-Sea-Water,
At the doorway of his wigwam,
In the pleasant Summer morning,
Hiawatha stood and waited.
