although the why poetry has been quite fuzzy after some horrendously vile recent actions one of which is not being included in a chapbook of a place i'd been for over ayear, i must've gave them 8 poems and not one of them,
so I write poetry basically because I'm no good at stories, and my desir efor writing poetry has grown over the years thats why it kills me when something happens thats against my writing,
I actually spend allot of time on my poetry now sometimes most of the day,
it rewarding when its just to yourself enough, when I send it to you guys it becomes fun too

Poetry is a journey into my deepest self. Underneath all the pretenses, all the fears, all the doubts, there's someone waiting to be let out. In every word of every poem, that someone can take a peek into the real world and be glimpsed in turn.
Poetry is a journey to heal my deepest self. Everybody has their own scars to cover up or bear to the world with bravery. Poetry is the result of my mixed longings; a longing to heal, and a longing to hide and forget.
Poetry is my irrepressible love of life, with all it's good and bad, refusing to be hidden behind scars... Poetry is the layer by layer baring of my soul.
I write a lot when I am feeling low. Writing it out clarifies my thoughts. This kind of writing very seldom makes it's way into my poetry simply because I don't want to depress anyone else. My misery does not love company.
Poetry, I write to lift my own spirits - if it does, then I share it. There is nothing I love more than to make people smile.
