Jacquii Cooke -- known as MsJacquiiC in the forums -- is a Black American Poet, turned web & graphic designer from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Her writings have been featured in both online & print venues.

Jacquii is devoted to the more abstract styles of writing which center around the topic of owning one’s fate by holding tight to truelove. "If I were to write my own personal autobiography, it would be in prose poetry format. It would be all about transcending the immediate setting to reveal themes that are universal to man and woman: one’s faith, one’s fate and his relationship with his fellow humanity & to the natural world," says Ms. Cooke, referring to her collected poetry as a whole. "My writing embodies the strong feminine voice; this voice owns the concept of earning redemption by righting the wrongs of past transgressions, ultimately soaring to an unending freedom."

Known throughout the JPiC Community as nomadicrhymer, Therese Belisle hails from the small tropical country of Belize. "[Spoken Word] allows me to follow a random train of thought to wherever," she says, speaking of her own writing process. "Although I am in love with traditional rhyming poetry, when I write it just takes on a life of its own. The rhyming goes out the window. At the start of a piece I am never sure where it will end up."

Therese presently resides in Claremont, CA where she works as an Executive Assistant in charge of IT and Marketing. Stay tuned because she's planning a future, self-published compilation of her best writing.

Known as butchiesmom throughout the JPiC Community, Gail Deemer -- self described "crafter with delusions of authorship" -- hails from Clune, Pennsylvania. She graduated with an Associates degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

She enjoys all needle crafts, reading, photography and writing. "A lifetime of experiences which could've left me wounded, scared and bitter have not defined me. It has helped build the voice in my writing. [My] writing process is like a diamond. You don't dig up a diamond and place it in a ring. It has to be ground, cut and polished before being placed in a setting just as beautiful," she says of her writing process. Gail has three daughters and three grand daughters. She currently resides in western Pennsylvania with her husband and two cats.

Jonathan Khare is of Indian descent and currently resides in Calcutta, India. Of his writing he says, "Poetry for me was born out of silence, emerged out of a confused haze and became a passion, a voice! I have tried to voice everything within me through poetry; Some of it painful and some personal."

Such revelation in his writing has resulted in some of the most beautifully unselfish poetry we've perchance to read here at JPiC Forum. "I have written about drugs and sex and love and I bet I have much more to write about. Being here is an honor and I'm happy to have grown as a poet in this forum."
