Diary of a Country Love

Diary of a Country Love

My fascination with country living began when I was just a child. My folk would take us to Wisconsin for our family vacation. We would always rent the log cabin and then go fishing or hunting but that’s not what I liked, it was the peacefulness and the beautiful surroundings, the trees and flowers and of course the wildlife.

It has been so long since I’ve been out to the country or camping, you understand how it is when your working and trying to just make ends meet, so I’ve worked very hard and long to get where I am today. Owning my own business and doing very well but there was something missing in my life. One day I was looking through a magazine and I seen what was missing what I truly longed for in my life. There was a painting by Thomas Kincade of cabin the woods and it brought back so many great memories that I called a realtor and talk to Mike about buying a cabin in the mountains. He told me that at this time he didn’t have any available but he would keep and eye open for the cabin of my dreams. About three or four weeks pasted before I heard from Mike again when he called he sounded very excited he said he had the perfect place for me but I had to act quickly because it was priced to sell, so I told him that I would be there in couple hours.

When I arrived at Mike’s office, he had all the picture out for me to see the cabin and the area around the cabin. Living in Illinois I knew I would not be able to actually view the cabin in the mountains. Looking at the picture the cabin looked great, it was a log cabin but it was big, and it had everything. In the loft bedroom there was a large skylight which actually opened and had a great view of the night sky, on the back porch was a hot tub that was the biggest I’ve ever seen
but what really got my attention was the beautiful lake and the great mountain scene that you could see through the wall of glass in the living room, and the kitchen had everything a chef would want, the island was refrigerated with a grill on the top. I told mike that I had to have that cabin and to tell the owner that Ill pay the asking price on the spot. He made the call and when he hung up he had a bad look on his face. I thought I didn’t get it then he shook my hand and said its yours, we filled out the paper work, then I when to the bank and got a cashiers check. After signing all the paper work I handed him the check and he told me I could go to the cabin in one week that the owner needed that much time to move I said that would be fine, that they could take longer if they needed .

It was about a week and a half when I received the keys to the cabin with a note saying thank you. The excitement started flowing through my body and I couldn’t wait to actually take a look at the cabin. So I call the air port and booked a flight to Nevada and then I called and rented a suv for my trip to the cabin. Once arriving in Nevada, I got a map and direction to the Mountains above the city of Lake Tahoe and started my long drive. After a couple hours I drove over a hill and I can’t believe the site before me the lake was so blue and the mountain back drop was breath taking, and I fell in love instantly with the area. I stopped in the town and got directions to the cabin and the people were so friendly and kind so very different from the city.

Driving down the road which has wooded area on either side of the road and seeing all kinds of wildlife crossing the road as I slowly drove coming up to a clearing I finally see the cabin and it is so beautiful very well kept and loved pulling in front of the cabin excitedly I open to the door . Tired I tried to rest but couldn’t fall asleep. So I looked for something to read and found a book. As I opened it I realize it was a diary of someone’s personal thoughts and feeling but being nosy and bored I decided to read it anyway.

“Dear dairy
Today I seen the man of my dreams while out on a hike, I came to a small clearing where I took a pause in my exploration. I took a drink of water and began to sketch some of the trees and flowers and foliage. I had never gone this way on the trail, and wanted to put down some of it on paper, I took a few photos as well.
Continuing on with my hike, I seen him running down another path. I looked down the path and I noticed up ahead a trail that forked off to the right, marking my path and continued on. I was startled by the rushing and view of the most awesome waterfall. I was coming down between two hills, there was a blue, green and red tint to the water. I make my way up the side of the cliffs, so as to get behind the water coming down. That’s when I seen him again swimming in the pond under the water fall.”

I putting down the diary as I noticed its getting dark so I go out to my suv and get some things out to spend the night. Walking in through big windows in the front of the cabin as the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen. The sun is a golden orb as it falls behind the purple mountain tops and the colors in the sky are pinks and reds and blues all surrounding the sun as it slowly sets. Then cooking myself some dinner before retiring to bed, something about the fresh mountain air that makes you sleepy. Crawling on the bed then looking up as I pick up the diary, looking through the skylight and seeing the most amazing site the stars and moon just incredible. Picking back up the diary I continue to read it

“Dear Diary
The next morning dawned clear and wonderfully cool. My heavy heart felt uplifted by the beauty of the coming day and I hoped it was a sign that I had made the right decision I had to find this man that Id seen in the forest yesterday. So I went into town and asked around there was one person that they thought it was and he own a cabin up in that area, so they gave me directions to his place nervously I went to the door and knocked and when he answered I just stood there I couldn’t think of a thing to say finally I said something stupid. He invited me in and then everything changed I relaxed and now couldn’t keep my mouth shut. Thinking to myself I found my soul mate.”

Turning the page and reading the next entry in her diary

“Dear Diary
After taking a midnight stroll Brodie leaned over and kisses me, lost in our own world where Brodie would stop occasionally and pull me into his arms for a sweet, delicate kiss. He was the type of man that always looked for the opportunity to hold and kiss me. Brodie was a romantic and treated me like a queen. Then without any warning he pulled me close and started kissing me more passionately. Then lifting my arms behind me, I placed them around his neck and gently ran my fingers through his brown hair while his lips tenderly tasted the flesh on my neck As his hands reached around my waist. Yes Brodie, ohh yes, I sighed as I felt the zipper of my dress fall open and my shoulders being bared of its soft fabric was replaced with soft kisses on shoulders and my body reacted with shivers of pleasure and hot desires, his lips and tongue continued their journey against my bare flesh. I felt the soft silkiness of my hair fall against my skin as he freed it from the combs, then the sensation of his hands slowly moving upward until they cradled my breasts that ached to be touched and teased and kissed. I reacted as my back arched involuntarily and pushed my taut breasts against his hands feeling the heat through my sheer black lace of my bra. Moving his gentle hands to my back, I felt it caressing up and down, soon joined by the warmth of his hot lips and tongue. My whole body was burning with desire, I needed him, wanted him now, he eased down my bra passed my shoulders and pulled my arms free I dropped the bra onto the floor. The coolness of the mountain breeze against my unrestrained breasts and my nipples so hard now that they felt like they would burst, causing a gasp of pleasure. Once again my arms moved to his head my fingertips slid up into his hair while Brodie kissed me passionately."

Unable to put down the diary I keep reading slowly falling in love with some one I didn’t know let alone have met, but there is something about her that has my heart pounding, wanting her. Looking up through the skylight again the moon and stars seem brighter. As they appear in the dark sky, its no wonder why they loved it up here. Turning to the next entry I begin to read ,
