This is just a little something that I work on when I get into one of them moods. If you see any mistakes, feel free to fix them, lol

February the 27 2012

Trev verily escaped Butch’s men, but not without a few battle scores of his own. Now he had to make it out of this place and to his home, alive.
The one thing Trev was positive of, if he survived this night, he would spend his life trying to put an end to Butch and his ring of murderous thugs.
The sound of a car close by, caught his attention, quickly, he ducked low and made his way closer, until the car came into view.
Trev sensed Butch closing in from behind and knew if he didn’t act fast butch would find him. That would only result in his death, for he was no match in his weakened state.
When the car stopped, a lower class trig got out and started walking in his direction. Trev wasted no time as he swiftly plunged for the man.
Wrapping his hands around the man’s head, he twisted until he heard the bones give away.
Rapidly, he jumped in the car, turned out the lights and hit the gas. The cars ass end stared fishtailing all over the road and he almost lost control but in a matter of minutes, he gained it back.
Quickly, he made his way down the back roads, in the dark, heading towards the place he swear he’d never come back to, his home.
Trev closed his eyes for a split second; it had been sixty years since he’d stepped foot back into Colorado. He had hoped he would never have to return to this part of his life, but Butch’s appearance left him with little choice.
Fifty-nine years ago he’d struggled with his inner-self, trying to control the beast within him, and the hunger that lead him to the brink of madness. Now here he was forcing himself to unleash it. There would be hell to pay and he’d see to it Butch received its full force, but first he must survive this night.

I love this because it brings something new to the site...You would predominantly expect to see just poetry, its different subjects and styles but an actual story is good. As a kid and to this day I enjoyed stories where somebody is faced with odds and overcomes them, and I love action and killing and stuff...sometimes it can just give you that pure rush of adrenaline feeling...Thank you

Hello KingAce

I am glad you like some of my work. Yes, I agree about more of a choice. I have read a few different styles of writing on this forum and must say I have enjoyed them. I like stuff like that too. Action, thrillers, mystical magic, horror and romance.
Are you a writer? If so, what style? And will you post a bit of your work? I have a few different books going at the moment and have already reworked the one I posted here. Changed some stuff as well. This is only a rough draft and I add to it, change it and start over, lol. This book is going to be action, thriller, horror and romance all rolled into one.
Once I get something I like and can run with, I start trying to put myself in it. Trying to add the emotional part that brings it too life, so to say. Been looking for someone with a vivid imagination. Someone to help me with a book. A writing partner that kind of thinks like me...that thought is kind of scary, lol

Yeah PATRICIA - Totally agree with what KINGACE said about different styles of writing and having a more diverse selection of styles to look forward to. 'Tis why I hope JPiC can attract many more talented writers whom have such talent as yours!

Anyway - This story seems a bit unfinished. It's like a prologue of some sort - Had me wondering what's gonna happen to Butch and what else does the night have in store for your characters! Such is the talent of your writing - You have such an ability to pique interest - But really I'd like to see what happens to with the rest...

With that being said - I thank you for sharing your talent with the Community!
You my friend have style & I am loving it!

Jacquii.

well I have written a few short stories mostly from things as simple as a picture and I love letting my imagination illustrate it and let my emotions bring it to life...i'm always open to do collabo writing or simply helping you with anything else, as far as writing...creative writing such as stories and poems are things that should be shared and used to bring emotions or expressions into physical form....pm me if you need help have questions or anything else

Hi Patricia....The story started very strong, action, and captivated my interest. You definitely have the talent and imagination of writing a story with amazing novel quality. I also, would like to know what happened to Butch? Did he indeed survive the night? In the next segment, I would love to read, what kind of "Hell" did Butch experience? At what length is Trev going to stop this madness? Will Trev even survive? Perhaps, a twist that will obscure my thinking as it is, and lead me on another captivating path. Your work is very vivid, grabs a reader, and is very unique. (For me, I LOVE scary, close me eyes, jump off my seat, bite my nails, turn all the lights on, look around the corner..kind of horror movies and books). Also as mentioned before, it is nice to read a story. After all, this is a Forum for Writers, and I love to share and experience in the myriad of talent, diverse styles, and this eloquent form of art, called "Writing". And such a talent as yours is infinite. Who knows how far the stars of the universe will provide the starlight for your journey. Just make sure you do take the jouney. Thank you for sharing this Patricia.

Kim

Thank you

I would like to thank everyone for having such faith in me. Your inspiration has given me my faith back.

Well, I have done rewrote a lot of that part and it turned out a little different. I don't have it yet, but getting close.

About Butch and Trev, I can't say a lot, but the next posting will be a rework of this and give you a bit more into it. I can't explain a lot, but it will unfold little by little. This story will have a lot of twists and turns too it, I just have to figure them all out and put them in the right place.

Yes, Ace, you're right. I enjoy reading but I watch tv a lot too, lol. I love a good romance novel, but have been known to pick up a horror book or one of nothing but poems. I prefer watching horror, action and thrillers on tv, but thats just me. I have something I have been working on here and there. The next time I open it up, I will send you a part of it. Go over it, see what you can gather, fix and add. Once you finish it, send it back. Lets see how good we can work together. Okay?

Thank you Jacquii, you are a very kind and caring pertson. Very good heart Yes, I hope we attract some talented writers too, but I am sure we will and they will probably be better than I am.

I would like to thank you all for your words of encouragement
