Biography: Jacquii Cooke is a 32 year old Black Poet from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. As Webmistress of Poetry in Color Forum, she is devoted to the more abstract styles, especially those with a strong feminine voice that center around the topic of redemption and righting the wrongs of past transgressions.

It is both a pleasure and an honor to award Moonchild the Traditional Poetry Award. For those of you who are familiar with KAREN's poetry, you know that she is one of JPiC's most active Members and generally posts some of the most exquisite examples of traditional form poetry. Whether it's any variety of sonnet or villanelle or kyrielle - the mastery of form is evident....
