Hey HUGHO - I did see and approve you haiku submission - but for that particular call - we're looking for a haiku collection ------ since the haiku is such a brief form - I thought it would be lovely to see a collection (between 3 and 6 haiku) of related poetry.... Hope this makes sense - but o0f course I've had a few beers - but at anyrate - Welcome to the Community!

Hiya Hugh =) And welcome!
Just to clarify a little something -> if you want to post a haiku but not in the poetry call for submissions (ie, just as a poem to be read and enjoyed and hopefully receive feedback by the JPiC community, not as part of the contests) then you can do so by starting a new thread in any of the poetry forums (to find these, click on the "Main Forum" link at the top of any page, and scroll down to the group of sub-forums entitled Poetic Colours). For a haiku, you'll probably want to post in the Creative Traditional sub-forum, but you can choose any that you feel your poem is suited to!
If you ever need anything, help is a click away, either in the chatbox or via PM - there's always at least one of us around!
