Nothing exciting
Well, I've never really been all that great at introducing myself, but I will do the best I can.
My name is Patricia, I am forty years old and I joined this forum a few days back. You will find I am a bit shy and don't post a lot. I love to read and enjoy writing, or so I use too. Poems, I have only written one poem over the last thirty years, not sure I could anymore.
When I was seven I started writing poems for my mom and continued to do so until I was ten. A lot of family problems got in the way and I gave up my writing. I didn't start writing again until I was thirty, but instead of poems, I started experimenting with different kinds of writing.
At thirty two I completed my first historical romance and have rewrote it more times then I care to count. I have been told my book could be at the top with the right guidance.
It seems my grammar, punctuation and S. structure need a work. Not to mention my spelling, lol. Since then I have been trying to teach myself, just not sure if I am getting it all. At one time I was self-published, but had the book pulled after reading it. The mistakes were too vast to count.
At this point in time, I have four different books that I should be working on, but can't seem to find myself. Sometimes I will pull out my first book and start going over it, but that don't last long.
Have you ever felt as though you lost something and can't seem to find it? Or perhaps you were only fooling youself? I guess I'm just in one of those moods. Does anyone in the forum ever have mood swings?
Well, I better go before everyone thinks I have lost it, lol. If you wish to know anything else, just ask.
Patricia

Thank you for the kind welcome MsJacquiiC.
Over the last few years, I’ve noticed a lot of writers have mood swings of some kind or other; it’s nice to know I am not alone. Sure, I will post a bit of my first book, just not sure what forum I should post it in.
I’ve been busy for the last few weeks and I really haven’t had a lot of time for myself.
I have had writers block before, but that’s not my problem at this time. I’m starting too wonder if I have what it takes to be a writer. Or perhaps I have I been fooling myself.
I have had a lot of good remarks, even a few excellent ones. Three months ago, I got a awful review. An editor remark “Personally myself, I found this story rather boring. That kind of hurt and it now has me wondering. But, I’m a stubborn little…I will leave it at that, lol
