Hello All
Hey there. My name is Brian Fuchs and I have been writing for about ten years. I frequently post my poetry on my website, but I am looking for a community to share with and to get feedback from. And I'd really like to get to know some other people who "get it." As much as my friends try to support me, this just isn't their world. I know it is yours. I hope I've found a place where I can grow as a writer and as a person and I look forward to making this a regular stop in my daily online life.

...What she said, lol...Welcome to our community! This is, indeed, a community of extremely talented writers from all over the world and of so many genres.
My own writing has improved since joining this site, I can testify to that. I write so much gooder than I did before, just kidding, but my writing has improved and it is an amazing thing to me.
I'm looking forward to reading your work and meeting you in the chatbox!

Hello Brian!
I'm a rather brand new newbie myself but this altogether just has been a very nice community of writers and it definitely helps to improve your writing, and your skills as a writer, to share your work with other people. I know that ever since I've gained the courage to show my writing to complete strangers and get their honest feedback that it has helped me so much. I look at my poetry before, at least 4-5 years ago, and now, and I'm amazed (and kinda embarrassed about the older poetry and that feeling of, "How could I write something like this...?) But I've learned to appreciate the older stuff to show the progress of where I was and where I am now.
Anywho, welcome again and it's nice to meet you too!

SARAH - I know EXACTLY what you mean - my 1st poetry site is Jacquii's Poetry Spot - Creating New & Novel Cliches Daily... - and I was browsing recently, looking at some of my 1st poetry writings... It's just amazing - SIMPLY AMAZING what this JPiC Community has done for my writing. So many suggestions, the honest feedback, and mostly the INSPIRATION has helped me and my writing immensely - I thank you for posting! Be sure to update your avatar if you like though
