Hello...am new here! :-)

thanks for inviting me to your forum, jacqui!!! i hope to be able to read and post poetry...i write free-style poetry. i am 45 years old, a capricorn, live in richmond, virginia, usa....at 16 (1977) i began writing my poetry in journal books and now have over 20+ journals filled...i have been having writer's block for a while, but wrote a holiday poem last month

my favorite poet is emily dickinson....i love to read & read & read! british classics (virginia woolf, the brontes, jane austen, others) and biography on historical british figures and poets and writers and classic actors/actresses...
i also love to walk, watch dvds, and hope to learn how to crochet in the new year...i host my own forum Poetry & Creative Expressions, too, on delphi forums and have a website in memory of princess diana (all my own poetry).

- AWESOME intro -I'm a huge fan of Dickinson as well!

At anyrate - make yourself comfy and have fun posting in the forums.

One thing about your intro - You said something about writers block - and something about 20+ journals of poetry - You know ---- One of my favorite things to do when going through a writers block is to take those journals out and edit edit edit - I'm sure I have some stuff that is very publishable in magazines or ezines or whatnot.... Possibly you do as well?
