If ur having a dry spell as far as writing is concerned then u've come to the right place. There's loads of members on here who'll help u out and give advise.
I'm a total beginner when it comes to writing but the people on here have been brilliant.
I had a look at your profile, it gives the option to email u but doesn't actually show your email addy, only homepage. If u don't want people to email u just go to usercp, edit options and uncheck the box that says "Receive Email from Other Members".

Welcome! It's good you've joined. I've found myself having a block from writing recently also. So I can understand. My impression of this site is that it is filled with a bunch of creative people, who are talented, and who are completely supportive of other people's' writing. So far I have found it all pretty inspiring. Some people have trouble writing - I think - because they are comparing themselves to their favourite great [genius] poets. They grow up and put their literary creative side away in order to live more fully in the "adult world". And in a way we abandon our inner child, our inner free innocence. Here, this site I feel is created to support all people and, to me, validifies (spelling?) the creative pursuits of any person. It's like being in the first grade and making friends with other kids. I don't know if that was a weird comparison by me. Oh well. Well anyway that's it's foundation and its meaning, I think -- for all to be creative. And that's why I am liking this place so far. I think you'll like it too, I hope.

I'm new to the forum as well and it seems this forum has some great people in it I love to read and write too, but can't seem to stay with one book, lol. I plan on posting a little of my first book sometime tonight.

As far as the email: The ADMIN/MOD team are the only ones who can see your physical email address. The email system here allows for completely anonymous mailing between members. Of course you have the option to turn that feature off, as SEBBY has noted:
QuickLinks ----> Edit Options ----> Messaging & Notification ----> Receive Email from Other Members(uncheck OR check box) Receive Email from Administrators should be checked
