Hi! I joined this site a few weeks ago and find it a friendly place to be. I'm the mother of 3 girls and 3 granddaughters, all blonde and 2 grandkitties, lol.
I used to write as a teenager but everyday life and troubles got in the way and I didn't really write anything for almost 30 years.
I love to do all kinds of needlework and read. I write poetry and mostly essays. My health isn't that great so I really haven't been writing lately. I have something in mind, however, addressing some of my problems and think, once I write it, it will be hilarious, lol.
I'm positive I'm the victim of a cosmic practical joke and have decided to write a complaint to The Powers That Be, lol. Sometimes, it takes me a while to write something but it's worth it in the end.
Well, enough about me. My long-suffering, great, gentle husband is the love of my life and my sounding board for everything I write. We met at Burger King, I was working the drive-thru, and we like to joke he saved me from the evil Burger King, lol. Our wedding cake had the usual bride and groom on top and a carriage with horses in the middle. So lovely!
Gotta run!
Gail

Dear Gail,
Welcome to the JPiC Community. I also love your intro as it is warm and very real. We have chatted several times, and I am so happy you joined. Although the writing of your emotions, may take a while, when you are done, we marvel in your craft. Take Care Gail.
Hi Gail.
I'm recently new to JPiC, but I like your introduction. Actually, when I joined this forum, I didn't know that I would be a lot younger then most, or a lot of, the people here; thought it was kind of a teenager thing, ha. I guess I just joined for the heck of it. But I see there is lots of variety in this forum, and I'm glad to be part of it. Welcome.
Cheers.
