Hi Sarah! New members like you are a real treat to come back to! I've been away since last May - taking care of my elderly mother - but now that I am back, I am really looking forward to reading more of your stuff! BTW - I see your birthday is just the day before mine - though mine is many YEARS earlier than yours! LOL!

lollol, those geese must have a language and I merely translate; do they greet when they pass each other? Of course, I say. I liked what you said because it is pretty much what I was trying to put across. we sometimes forget that there is so much in Nature others[animals] have better insight about than us humans. wonderful to hear you speak about nature with such sweet affection.

My Mother can be an extreme asshole sometimes, it's all about her, her, her, even when she might be getting something for you, it always goes back to her being able to control you with that leverage of whatever she purchased for you. I am not a person who buys anything for herself, I'm so damn cheap...

I got my first ever rejection letter for my Novel in the mail. It was kind of uniquely worded with it and just a standard rejection letter, not personalized, but I immediately took it and put in my display folder. I have my rejections in the folder and my accomplishments in it too.

My mother made a comment hitting way below the belt and extremely hurtful... she brought up the poor cat that was hurt by me walking my horse. I haven't stopped thinking of that cat since the accident and though it's actually okay, and amazingly it has healed up okay, I still think about what happened...

Oh, wow, this is a good day but I'll start it with the bad because I feel so damn guilty over it. One of the barn cats at the stable was in my horse's way when I was walking her and the poor thing got badly stepped on by her. Its skin was scratched right off on the two back legs and I feel so, so horrible....

So, today I got in the mail this nice little letter from the Poetry Contest that I sent two of my poems in and which said that they received my entries and that by August 31st I should know how I do on their website. I'm really excited and I'm going to save the letter I got and I think it's really neat...

Issue time: 06-28-2008 08:25 PM
Issue reason: Sarah provided us with an idea that will help enhance the member's posting experience at JPiC by (in her words) suggesting a little blurb be placed at the bottom of the page that says how you can post your work and that all you need to do is click on the "New Thread." Ms Jacquii has implemented this idea and put into place. Congratulations and thanks Sarah for your Brilliant Idea!
