Oh, this is short but I like it. It says a lot with just a few words and with reading through your work I notice you have your own style to your poetry which is definitely very interesting to read. And, I like how you end with a question for the reader to ponder after they're done. I was wondering what inspired this piece though? Anywho, thank you for sharing this and keep on writing away!

This piece was half true & half fictional. As I simmered this short piece in my brain, I was actually led in bed with my partner, watching a programme about rednecks. I'm not sure why, but my mind wandered to the subject of men being 'players'. The line, "Am I just another girl to stain your stave?" refers to a male who perhaps writes songs or poems about the women he has been with. Hence wondering if this particular woman is just another one in a list of others.
