How's the view

Why must we unravel anything that causes faith?
even the death of youth,
won't cause you to change your face,
for the world to change,
we all ask what will it take,
I think it'd take more than a rich man's
pockets emptied, you shake,

We've lost our souls,
but our moral woes are gone,
since we eliminate the moon, the friends we had,
our God, why not the sun,
so how's the view anyways?

How's the view?,
after we tear each other in two,
and live in sin like they want us to,
when we're fed regret, if you don't take it,
the only step is isolation,
so you'll never change a soul that lives with hate,

After, one and another, learns to be precious few,
then they ask us how's the view.

Yep - sad... A bit cynical aren't we ERIK? This poem has some excellent statements in it though... And I can type from experience

Quote:

Isolation is one thing - but I've been told that the only constant on Earth (and beyond I assume) is change... I'd like to think that me being in isolation... My thoughts of ultimate redemption are loud enough to inspire the hope of change LOL - I've been told that I'm really really loud...

So what?

At anyrate - interesting poem - Me wonders if you feel isolated? Is that where the inspiration for this poem came - Or are you like everyone else: Out to talk about me and get me = tehehehehe ----> Yep - isolation is not necessarily a bad thing - especially if you love yourself - Hell - you'll be with someone that you can actually stand.

Thanx for the poem

Jacquii.

msJ, this poem isn't about that, its just about my isolation,

honestly on re-read this is so spiteful its even getting me down a little,
I try to keep it at least a room for hope or a good conquering evil,
but yeah cynical at th etime an dwith al I've heard about people making diferences I must be really cynical when I wrote this

I'm fond of saying I'm the pessimistic-optimist - so can completely relate to your post above... Especially considering I basically cried to my Mama earlier about getting the fuck out of this house, as it seems like a pitiful warzone filled with spite and hate.

But anyway - sometimes cynicisms are deserved

Jacquii.

I can understand that too msJ, my whole family and relatives don't mix very well right now,
although my house isn't that bad, meanwhile people are getting stabbed at the mall I go too not sure I wanna go there anymore, ans peopel shot a couple miles away from the base, but the house its rather safe,

I hope you get out of that house msJ as it seems that's something you need
