I am Afraid
Scared of clowns, scared of shocks
Silly fears of hens and cocks
Heights and holes make me jumpy
Even scared of roads too bumpy
Theres a pond nearby, but I won't step in
Not only for fear of drowning, but what may lurk within
Scared of dead woodland and dark, shady figures
I'd probably fear hail, and I know I'd hate fissures
I fear I'm annoying, just a huge neusance
Scared everyone hates me, despairs my pressence
I'm scared my friends will grow tired and eventually leave me
They say I can trust them, but I fear they'll deceive me
My fear is obvious, stands out like a stain
Reassure me all you want, my phobias will remain
As hard as I try to make them go away
These fears of mine are here to stay
Call me a wuss, but don't think I'll be maimed
I'll accept such a title without feeling ashamed
If you've read this poem, this confession I've made
By now you should see; I am afraid
