If I could paint your heart
with color art then I would
see exactly how love is
supposed to be when life
requires love and a few lessons
to give you a dream.
When I look into your eyes
I see a child born under skies
of pain.
I feel the snow gentle as
a mother's love cold through
December but never getting
hurt.
This is the conversation that
gives me fear when you think
that I am rich on top of the wind.

If I could paint your heart
a tattoo it would be a heart
filled with love and understanding
pointed with two arrows one pointed
right and one pointed left.
Arms full of love this is what
I want to be to you a girl
with tired eyes because I
work hard every day and before
I fall why don't you give me
your heart and paint it with
color art mixed with colors
that you provide for me.
You may provide black because
that would be the image of my
soul.
You may provide red because
that would be the color of my
heart.
You may provide white because
that would be a tear from my eye.
I don't require many colors so it
wouldn't be hard for you to paint
me beautiful and realize I am something
meaningful.

I came across the art on your
wall it was an image of me,
I was smiling, something to give
joy to life.
Did you realize the colors
is what makes art enjoyable?
Did you realize colors are instant
and life is a vacation wave for the
soul?
Did you realize you loved me?
Beyond the painting the heart
starts to break.
Repair all the wounds
and understand to live is
the only blessing that
we have.
