A Mother's Love

A Mothers Love
As we sit on the worn park bench,
I cuddle my child and feel so rich.
I am thankful for sharing our secrets
on this old bench.
She turns to me asking how we grow up
not to be afraid of the storms.
I whisper softly in her ear,
"You are not afraid because you know that
we are near."
I leaned down to give her a kiss, then
she ran, saying "Ha-ha Momma,
you missed."
I laugh gently out loud, looking to the
skies for any dark clouds.
I am protective of my loving child,
and offer a prayer of thankfulness out loud.

Dear Tamara,

This was simplistic beauty. One of the most beautiful feelings in this world is a Mother's Love. I cannot have children, and often times ponder on what that feeling would be like. After reading this, I found myself closer to that feeling and I thank you.

Kim

Dear Kim and Sally, Thank you for your appreciation of 'For the Love of A Child.' I was sitting at the computer thinking about how much I love my daughter and how fast she is growing up at 15 yrs. old. I then started remembering her when she was so little and cute as could be as she asked questions after questions. She is a beautiful young lady now and I still love her just as much as when we received her at 3 years of age.
Kim, I feel that you are going to receive a child under unconventional circumstances. God is going to put the right baby in your lap at just the right time. I feel that it will be within two years or sooner and you will be ready and so happy so receive this child. God bless you and may you be patient for God gives us what we ask for in his own time. I leave you with love and peace.
Sincerely,
tamm0449 Spiritual Harmony
