Who invented pasta?
Some say it was the Chinese
But what to do with the flaming stuff
Is causing me unease

No matter how long I grill it
It’s still as hard as hell
When I try to deep fry it
It causes a dreadful smell

I put it in the microwave
Twenty minutes on full power
Fragments exploded all round the oven
It was like a meteor shower

‘Boil the pasta’ I was told
Al Dente that’s the plot
But I still can’t cook spaghetti
Cos I don’t have a long enough pot
