I understand the first part, woman, snake, man and about the apples. What I don't understand is the part about the population of heaven being beaten. Please explain this to me. I would appreciate it.

Dear Butchiesmom!
Thanks for your kind question. To my mind Adam and Eve were the only population of heaven (humans) but were bitten all creatures there (animals too) because of their (humans) disobey. Adam and Eve showed their shame by trying to wear on their naked bodies something. Shame showed guilt and led to punishment. People without shame, as a matter of fact, nearly often avoid punishments. Just look around you, don't you know them? Best wishes. SergoB.
