Stoned Immaculate
The stars undercover, the moon shining shy ,
abashed by the brilliance of our nakedness .
Marijuana smoke like sweet smelling incense ,
making its way to the indulgent heavens above ,
passing through our lips like a love song of worship ,
to a rapt audience of Gods .Yes here we are on holy ground ,
stoned immaculate . Here we lie in this temple of love ,
stoned immaculate .
Like shooting stars on a burning trail destined to meet each other ,
Exploring hands , probing lips, on this mad race to reach nirvana .
My sweaty palms on your parched skin quenching a spiritual thirst ,
Your hands on me , your moist lips on mine feeding a starving fire .
You moan , I groan as you ride me on this pilgrim's path of gradually fullfilled desire.
Oh we're getting there at the feet of God , stoned immaculate
Now we're all spent up , by love sanctified ,
stoned immaculate .
Inspired by the title of the Jim Morrisson song " Stoned Immaculate "

OH Jon! This is sexy & sweet - as if a long-awaited rendezvous of two lovers whose destinies are finally matched and mapped out in the stars as ancient Greek Gods watch and are filled with longing for such truelove for their own selves.
I love this write Jon - It's so intimate and personal - I want to be one of the lovers here smoking sweetly and loving the man of my dreams, my soulmate who I've strived so hard to succeed for.

woo .. Thank yu guys ..Mysty n Ms J ..I havent been writting for so long that I thought I didnt have it in me no more ..and then Im killing time at the record store checkin out records and I come across a Doors greatest hits collection I dont hav with the song Stoned Immaculate on it right at the very bottom ..I didnt get the cd coz I knew this was going to be the title of my next poem .. I like being inspired but rarely enjoy being influenced so I really havent heard the song but cant wait for the weekend when I go and buy the record ..Jim Morrisson's one guy Id go gay for , the only one.... Im so happy yu guyz like this so that means I DONT SUCK AT THIS POETRY THING ... Thank you guys I love yu ....

there is a torrent of things in this that no one caught. a symmetry caught in a hurricane of detached attachments...i would read this slowly and without regard to the pictures it creates, but the metaphors and conundrums that lie buried neath a spiritual erotic haze...as if it is a snapshot, as Amzy put it to me once, a verb on pause in our constant quest for emotional freedom, physical attachment in sync with yet somehow juxtaposed to the need for peace that can only come from above. Why is it we only see the connection through the erotic haze? well done.

Yes I do agree , we're all trying to create the ambience of another heaven out here but isnt that what poetry is about ... If yu read Daffodills .. the urge is present in that poem too .. its not relly about erotic though I think poets have tried to fine spiritual peace even in something as earthy as a flower or a stream ..thats what poetry is about looking beyond or rather imagining beyond wots there to see
