Here's the translation

How sad the tears from a baby’s eyes
When all around is new
Don’t fear my child you’ll find no harm
For I’ll look after you

Sleep my infant take rest for a while
I’ll lie next to you
I’ll give you love and warmth
Through the night stay with you

Beauty in your face, a soul full of grace
Out into the world went you
As the years go past and with few bitter tears
Your honour intact you have kept

Now that you are growing tired with age
A lifetime of joys and regrets
You sit alone in your own world
Remembering things you can’t forget

How sad the tears from an old lady’s eyes
In a world without anything new
You lie there and wait for your god
Your soul to calmly lie

Away from the life you have lived so long
Alone as you came
You leave your family with the knowledge you gave
And the memory of your name
