The sun rises once again
The Sun rises once again
Same as always its blood red
One difference i know tonight
For me the Sun will not rise again
In the dark of night, a razors edge
Cutting deep, blood to vent
Flowing, pooling on the bathroom floor
I’ll not feel the hurt of life anymore
Rivulets of crimson flow like rain
Draining me of this internal pain
As the tear shaped ruby flows down my arm
I can feel happy about my self harm
The scars I’ve hidden from family and friend
My painful existence draws to an end
No-one to care or look after me
To sleep, to dream of my own serendipity
