Sweet Sweet
Sweet, sweet
sweet…I hear
straining lyrical waves
circling around my heart
high pitches of saxaphonic chants
creating a beauty that only haunts
each selection flows through my soul
slaying dragons that once made me cold
soothing, brightening, coloring, awakening
what once was sleeping listlessly
a delicate love
a bud once nipped
now blooms in velvet
petals caressed
by kisses soft
and sweet
sweet, sweet.

Hello Nomad!
I must say that I really do love this too... and I really like how you start and finish your poem with "Sweet, sweet, sweet" and it just ties together your poem very nicely. I also think that it's clever how you formatted your poem, how it seems to start out with smaller lines in the beginning to the larger lines in the middle of your poem and then finally having it go back to the smaller lines with the beginning. I think that this also ties everything together plus I just enjoyed how it looks as well. Your poem flowed perfectly from one line to the next and the rhythm was great too.
I also just love the imagery right from the start of it and to the ending. I enjoyed your poem as a whole so I'd have to say that all of the lines and the different images in it. Anywho, this had some sweet and beautiful imagery in this and I'm glad I came across it. Thank you for sharing and keep on writing away!
