I don't know what to say,
I'm not sure what to write,
yet I have soo much to get out.

I open my mouth to speak
but no sound will some out.

My pen is poised in my hand,
but won't connect with the paper.

No words can be written or spoken,
to express how I feel.

So I send up a little prayer
to the one who knows me best
and always understands,
even if I don't,
can't,
or won't.

I can definitely relate to this one...there are days when there is so much flying around in my head, and I don't know where or how to start, or if I should even take the time to sit and write!

Invariably I will scribble here and there between working and chores at home, then hope for more time later...but when the time comes that I can actually do something...there's nothing there!!

Is this just about writer's block or the inability to connect your feelings with anything going on around you that you basically just offer it up to God in order to be able to let it go? This piece is very calm and I can feel the essence of the tone. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
